Hanging Wood Cider is a Single Estate Craft Cider.
it is Refreshing, Applely and Dry.
The cider is made from fresh pressed apples from the orchards at Hungerford Park. This may seem obvious but so many ciders are not from freshly pressed apples but from concentrate and they also have no idea where the apples come from or how they’re grown.
We really care and think about every stage the cider is made with minimum intervention. We don’t use pesticides or fungicides which means they are grown organically. The apples are Dabonet, Michelin and Harry Master Jerseys. The cider is naturally fermented, and therefore a true expression of the land and the apples. We even use our own water from our well!
Hungerford Park is an ancient estate and an important part of English countryside, the resting place for many Kings and Queens over the centuries. Now it is a place exuding beautiful produce, particularly the apples which is rare to find in Berkshire. The river bed chalk / gravel makes the apples naturally minerally.
